[/vc_column_text][vc_zigzag][vc_column_text]There is a global shift in consciousness around food and it is having a palpable impact on the food industry. Every human on the planet interacts with the food industry multiple times every single day, and consumers are increasingly worried and interested in learning what they should eat, how it was grown and the impact it has in the world. As new trends emerge and challenges present themselves new startups are sprouting, trying to position themselves as the ones defining the future of food.

About this event

You are invited to join Katapult Food for a conversation on the challenges and opportunities in the systemic change of the food ecosystem. The event will bring together a curated group of investors and thought leaders discussing the food and agriculture space to learn, share experiences and engage in meaningful dialogue.

RethinkX will present their 2019 report titled Rethinking Food and Agriculture 2020-2030 which has created controversy and lively debate with their food industry predictions such as ‘by 2030, the number of cows in the U.S. will have fallen by 50% and the cattle farming industry will be all but bankrupt.’

EAT Foundation will give then give us an overview of the EAT-Lancet commission on Food, Planet, Health which brought together 37 world-leading scientists from across the globe to address the challenge of feeding a future population of 10 billion people a healthy diet within planetary boundaries.

The presentations will be followed by a fireside chat with Katapult Food followed by Q&A.

The program will begin at 3PM sharp and conclude at 5PM.
